Description
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Support Engineer within a leading organisation based in Diss, Norfolk.
Duties will include:
• Providing general IT support to all employees and sites across the company
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Build / configure devices such as laptops, PCs, printers and terminals
• Escalate IT issues to the Head of IT as appropriate
• Participate in system installation projects off site as from time to time may be deemed necessary
Applicants must possess:
• 3 years + experience working within an IT helpdesk team (1st / 2nd line support) for a multisite business with a large customer base
• Excellent technical background in a Microsoft Windows environment utilising Terminal Services
• 3+ Years using Windows 7, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) 2007 or 2010 versions
• Demonstrable understanding of communication technologies (such as Wide Area Networks, VPNs, ADSL, Remote Desktop, Anti Virus (Kaspersky), Terminal Services etc.
• Excellent communication skills
