ASP.NET Developer

Salary: £25,000 - 40,000
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Lincoln


Description

Our client is looking for an ASP.NET Developer to join its Customer Support team based in Lincoln.

You will have a minimum of three years commercial experience developing solutions using ASP.NET and associated languages.

Essential Skills:

• Strong experience with ASP.NET.
• Strong knowledge of JSON, AJAX, jQuery, X/HTML and CSS.
• Strong experience with MS SQL and relational database design.
• Experience with Test Driven Development.
• Good understanding of W3C and HTML 5 standards.
• Experience with code repositories and work item handling software (e.g. TFS/SVN).
• Proven track record in software development.
• Understanding of good software architecture design and scalability.
• Ability to work well in a close team environment or on your own.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically throughout the development cycle.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to problem solve efficiently.
• Able to work to tight deadlines without direct supervision.
• Ability to support and maintain existing code bases created by others.

Desirable Skills:

• Agile experience
